New Born Shoot Preparations

New Born Photo Shoot Information Sheet

HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF AND YOUR BABY FOR THE SHOOT.

THINGS TO DO (if possible)

  • Try to keep baby awake on the morning of the shoot as a sleepy baby will get the best results.
  • Try to time a feed on arrival.
  • Try not to use any oils or lotions on the baby that leave a shine.

THINGS TO BRING

  • Extra milk or feed.
  • A blanket from home, a reassuring smell can help calm the little one.
  • A dummy or pacifier

NOTES ON THE SESSION

When you arrive I will meet you precious bundle and we will discuss the shoot. We will undress baby down to nappy and wrap in a warm blanket and then give him / her a feed and we will have a brew.

Most of the actual time will be spend making sure baby is comfortable and relaxed and not taking constant photographs.

Sessions times are 2 hours but if baby is calm and relaxed it can often be much shorter. On the other hand, if it takes longer then I always allow for it so there is no rush.

PAYMENT

A deposit of £30 is required at time of booking to secure your place. This is non refundable but if baby  arrives late and you have you shoot booked I will rearrange it for a week or so later.
